Legacy Is More Than What We Leave Behind
On May 28th, 2025 "Litha" was proud to sponsor and support an intimate investor luncheon for Last Farewells, a platform helping people create personal messages and memorial pages to be delivered to loved ones after they pass.
As a financial professional, I spend a lot of time helping people think about legacy through protection, planning, wealth, and stewardship. What drew me to Last Farewells was the way it addresses something financial planning alone cannot: the emotional side of what we leave behind.
During the luncheon, CEO and Co-Founder Estrella Quiroz shared the story and vision behind Last Farewells, creating space for honest conversations around grief, family, love, loss, and the words we often wish we had said.
That message deeply aligned with the work I am building through Bonfim Nascimento.
We can help families prepare financially for the unexpected, but financial protection cannot replace someone’s voice, memories, advice, or final words of love.
That is why supporting this luncheon felt so meaningful.
For me, stewardship is about more than managing money well. It is about being intentional with everything we have been entrusted with our resources, our relationships, our time, and the impact we leave behind.
Legacy is not only what we leave for people. It is also what we leave within them.
I am grateful that Life with Litha had the opportunity to support a company creating space for that conversation and to stand alongside a mission encouraging people to leave no important words unspoken.
